Should I get Travel Insurance?

Travel Insurance is an option offered at the moment of booking. It is not mandatory but is recommended to protect your travel plans in case of unforeseen incidents. We suggest PlayTravel for coverage details. If you must cancel your reservation and have not purchased travel insurance, we will refund your initial investment only if we are able to rebook your week.

What Time Is Check-In?

Check-in starts at 4:00 PM at your property to allow for cleaning services. You will receive an email at 9:00 AM containing your property's Folio Guidebook, which includes all essential information about your stay. At 3:00 PM, you will receive your final check-in email with the lockbox/keyless entry code for your 4:00 PM arrival.

What Time Is Check-Out?

Check-out is at 10:00 AM. Cleaners arrive promptly and must have complete access to the home and parking to ensure a swift turnover.

Can I Have An Early Check-In?

Unfortunately, we do not allow early check-ins. Our housekeeping teams and property managers need the proper amount of time to clean, inspect, and set up the property before your arrival. Please plan accordingly and do not arrive prior to 4:00 PM. This restriction also applies to parking at the home before check-in time. Sorry, no exceptions.

How Do I Book?

Our website provides instant quotes and lists available properties. Select your week of stay and define the number of guests or bedrooms to see a list of available properties. Each property can be opened to review photos, rates, descriptions, amenities, calendars, and a map. You can then send an inquiry for your dates of interest! Once your booking is accepted, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your week, with the second payment installment due forty-five (45) days prior to your arrival.

When do you begin accepting bookings for the next calendar year?

We start opening calendars in October, and payments are accepted starting January 1. This allows our owners time to reflect on their current season and revisit rates and reserve dates for themselves.

What Are My Responsibilities As A Guest?

The primary guest who signs the Rental Agreement is responsible for payment, deposits (including fees and taxes), and maintaining the condition of the property. All guests should read the rental agreement prior to arrival. Guests must be at least 28 years old to rent with Salt & Shine.

Is Online Booking Secure?

We implement various security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. We use a secure server for all financial transactions, and a receipt/confirmation email is sent as soon as payment is received.

Can I bring my pet with me?

We have only a few pet-friendly properties. Please send us an email with a photo and details about your pet for approval by our owners.

Will I be able to get in touch with questions during my stay?

You will have the direct cell phone number of your property manager for the duration of your stay. We encourage you to get in touch with any questions, comments, feedback, or concerns so we can assist you promptly.
