You are also just a few blocks from York Harbor, Short Sands Beach, and all the stunning beauty and historic charm that is encapsulated in the surrounding area.

Sweet n’ Salty is a 3.5 story, 12-room, 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom contemporary Colonial offering the best of Maine in an upscale, professionally-decorated setting. Designed with our guests’ comfort and enjoyment in mind, it easily sleeps up to 13 guests. The property is new to the rental market for summer 2021. It has recently been purchased and completely refurbished. Our local professional team has transformed Sweet n’ Salty into the perfect venue for a family reunion or other large event.

The first floor’s large, open floor plan offers several sitting areas so your fellow guests can spread out and enjoy. Enjoy nuzzling comfortably in Camby chairs for a fireplace chat; ensconcing yourself in the couch for a movie; or socializing at the high-top bistro table.

Open the two sets of French Doors, and the 3-season porch becomes part of the overall floor plan. Experience the serenity of the backyard-facing porch as you take in the scenic views of the fenced-in professionally landscaped lawns, flower gardens, mature shrubs, and shade trees that surround the oversized ½-acre lot. At dinner time, enjoy spacious seating in the dining room. Consider retiring to the charming game and reading room for a night cap or other shenanigans.

For those seeking a quiet night’s sleep, or for those who struggle with stairs, there is one bedroom on the first floor. This room offers a king-sized bed, sitting chair, private TV, washer & dryer and lovely view of the backyard porch and gardens.

The second floor proudly offers a 500-square-foot, completely revamped Master Suite with king bed, private en-suite bathroom with separate soaking tub, mini bar for cocktails or coffee, refrigerator, working desk and sectional couch. Work, play or just hide out. Either way, enjoy the extra space and privacy.

The second floor offers three additional bedrooms (2 with queen beds; 1 with double twin beds available to convert into King upon advanced request). These three bedrooms, each with ocean views, share a full bathroom on the same floor.

The 850-square-foot third floor, first and foremost, offers stunning, unobstructed views of the Atlantic and Long Sands Beach. This level contains one comfortable bedroom (queen bed) with stunning views. The remainder of the floor contains a daybed (to sleep an extra person), full bathroom, refrigerator (upstairs in the crow’s nest), sectional couch and sitting area with large screen TV. Use this level as a self-contained Suite for up to 3; or use the sitting area as common space.

The charming nautical staircase leads to a crow's nest on the fourth level, which in turn leads to an open-air deck overlooking the Atlantic. Enjoy the spectacular 180-degree views of the ocean, the sunset and the stars.
